The Cancun Nest - Hostel

When you walk through the Nest's front door, the first thing you'll see is a big sign which says, "Estás en tu Casa." Literally, it means "You are in your home." And that's the way we hope you'll feel at the Nest. Although right in the 24-hour-a-day he...

Not a horrible place to stay if you're on a budget, but I would recommend looking around first. We went to bed around 10 but the A/C doesn't turn on until 11 so we were sweating furiously for an hour, but morning the room had finally cooled off. Freezing cold shower, but good beds.

This hostel is clean enough. We stayed in a private room and it was great, just make sure you request 'dumbledore'! 'Slytherin' is so small it drives you nuts. Staff is friendly, though they hardly speak English, which made it difficult at occasions. There's no curfew, but gate closes at 11 and it's awkward to have to wake someone up at night.. Clubbing in cancun is crazy and expensive! The beaches are beautiful, and just a bustrip away.

The hostel is in Cancun Downtown. You can easily take the R1 Bus to the Beach and Hotelzone. The Cleanliness is okey, the shower wasn't good running, and everywhere in Mexico you have to put the used toilettpaper in the bin, which makes it a little disgusting! The staff is really nice. Would go there again.

If partying is what you want, take a taxi to the bar district. However, there are some small fun bars right around the corner. Super convenient to the bus station. We found the staff to be super nice, offering us watermelon on the way out as a goodbye. It was very safe. Also, the AC made things very comfortable.

It is a family owned hostel. The staffs don't know much English, but they are very nice and willing to help. They do keep the room very clean. If you just want a bed to sleep, it is not a bad choice, at least it is very close to everything: R1 bus to hotel zone, bus station, and the staff can bring in tour executive to you for the tours booking.
