  • We loved this hostel so much!! There was a great atmosphere. The staff helped us out a ton: gave us a map and quick orientation of the city, let us use a metro card, and even made free vino navegado (mulled wine) one night which was much appreciated considering how cold and rainy it was. They have eggs for breakfast... Amazing! The only thing that could be improved is that the room we stayed in (right off the common room) was very poorly insulated; it was very cold at night.

  • The best part of this hostel is the location and the free breakfast, its right in the heart of Valparaiso and easy walking distance to great places to eat and drink. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help make your stay comfortable. However its definitely one of the worst hostels in terms of trying to sleep or find a quite spot to read and chill out in. The 8 bed dorm on the bottom floor is right next to the only shared space and its not quiet before 2-3am most nights.

  • Stayed a week and totally loved it. Very nice staff, free drinks, made a lot of friends.. A little unorganized place but worked for me! The staff doesn't really speak english, but still had no problems with my very basic spanish. AND they are very helpful. Excellent location in cerro concepcion. Breakfast is good. If I (hopefully) ever go to Valpo again going to stay here! (: Negative thing: only 2showers..be prepared to wait.

  • I stayed over New Years and absolutely loved my stay there. The hostel is nice and small, a fantastic place to connect, and the owners are just sooo nice. They cared a lot for us, helped us with everything, make awesome breakfast, a giant barbecue for New Years. A "Pisco Night" literally means they make you pisco sours all night, not like other hostels where they would serve you a glass of pisco and then it's over... (Of course it's a hostel, so don't expect the Ritz. Everything OK though.)

  • I stayed in this hostel for 3 weeks while exploring Valpo and Viña del Mart. Breakfast every morning w/ eggs and fresh fruit juices, excellent Wi-Fi, comfortable beds. Every week there's a free pisco sour night where you can socialize with the other guests; we also did a taco night and, since I was there for both Christmas and New Year's, did holiday dinners which were fantastic. The 3 guys that run the place are all great, we even went out w/ them a couple of times. Highly recommended hostel!
