Excellent! Upon making my reservation, I received immediate communication. They offered me trasportation from the airport with out my asking. When I arrived to the airport, Artureo told me he'd see me in 2 minutes. There he was right when I expected him. Isabel welcomed me into the Hostel with a large friendly smile. I was hungry and arrived a little later than expected. Isabel whipped something up for me in a jiffy. Hot and delicious was her style of pasta!! And only for 15Q or $3. During dinner Isabel spoke to me in excellent, slow spanish so I could understand everything. I had an excellent and comfortable room with a private bath. The water did not get too hot; so hot water lovers beware. It just made my shower a lot shorter. In my time in Guatemala, I had to say my best nights rest was in this Hostal. Breakfast was ready for me in minutes. I enjoyed the coffee, juice, fried eggs on toast with salsa and mashed black beans very much. Off to the airport right at the time we set the night before. Excellent over all experience. I will recommend this hostal to everyone I know.

The guy at the reception had a bit of difficulty in getting our room fee right... Double-check the numbers.

The 13th Zone is far away from the centre and is not safe to be in the streets late in the evening. You must take taxis and the average cost is 7/8 USD, which aditionally increases the cost of the lodging.
