What can I say... I would stay there again anytime! Not fancy, not special in any way, just clean, great location and a friendly staff. I had a single room, which suited me just fine!

The hostal was really nice, but the stair way had a funny smell. The staff was very helpful and friendly. No breakfast is served. Internet is only available if you have a laptop.

I loved this hostel. It felt like a hotel but even better. The staff were extreemly nice and it was in a great location. I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Madrid!

great location right in the middle of all the action - only problem is the noise all night long buzzing etc. do bring ear plugs. people come back at 4/5am and make a lot of noise.

I stayed on the fourth floor. Unfortunately it was very noisy throughout the night with comings and goings. The doorbell rang everytime someone came in and the door is on a spring so it banged loudly. Shame because apart from that, its a great place to stay.

more an hotel than an hostel. all was perfect (we took a room with bathroom for three people).

The facilities were clean and close to the Sol Metro station. The Plaza Mayor was also just a ten minute walk away. I appreciated the security and the fact that it was practically like a hotel. We booked a twin-suite for 2 people. I would definitely recommend!

The one thing this hostel has going for it is its location on Puerta del Sol. The room is just that, a room. There is no ambience at all. The room wasn't ready for us, even after check-in time. We didn't even stay in the main building, we were across the street. I'd say it was overpriced. I learned that location isn't everything.

This was a very nice hostal. The room was small but good for me. I got my own sink which was very nice. I liked the style of the hostal and the room. The bathroom was clean. The hostal didn't had a lot of noise from other guests. It did had some noise from the restaurant downstairs, but it was ok, it's Madrid!! The location is perfect, you can walk to the center, so easy, and it's also near by a metro and nice tavernas!
