Worst beds we have slept on in 4 months travelling. No air conditioning in the stifling rooms.

For a stay in Madrid, this place works out pretty well. It's hot (no air-conditioning) and the rooms are pretty devoid of character, but for a hostel it's ok. Free internet in 30 minute blocks is nice, and they do have a fully stocked bar/kitchen. The breakfast is pre-packaged bread and cereal. It wasn't super clean but it was adequately so. Excellent location , amazing staff - very friendly and they'll definitely willing to show you around (looks at Enrique) Don't be surprised to see the working girls outside though, funny to see ;)

Wonderful location, great balcony view of Gran Via at night. Staff is very helpful. Smoking is allowed in all common areas, but not in the rooms.

Although overpriced, the location is probably the best in the city. For many, being 10 steps from Metro, the Gran Via, and having a balcony view may be worth the cramped rooms and truly ridiculous price of US $86 per night for a 2-star hostel.

I really liked staying in this hostel. The rooms are small, but clean. And the location is good, you can walk to everything, I never hab to go by metro.

It was freezing cold! The first two nights, it was okay, becsause it was hot outside, but the third night I couldn't sleep because I was so cold (and that's from a person who loves out door camping, and have been sleeping in tents in the snow in -20`C). The last night I slept with all my clothes, including my wool underwear and even my jeans ...
