Reception open 24h a day, very helpful; position excellent in the Gran Via and good quality/cost ratio Rossella, from Italy ~ 13th Nov 2009

The room I got was a single room with a large bed, more than a double. I would have been more satisfied if I didn't have to pay 55€ euro for it. Overall, a good place where to stay. Francesco, from Italy ~ 5th Oct 2009

The hostel was in a great location, close enough to walk everywhere. I would stay there again Daniel, from USA ~ 5th Oct 2009

Omar, from Italy ~ 28th Sep 2009

Worst beds we have slept on in 4 months travelling. No air conditioning in the stifling rooms. Sam, from Australia ~ 28th Jun 2009

Excellent location , amazing staff - very friendly and they'll definitely willing to show you around (looks at Enrique) Don't be surprised to see the working girls outside though, funny to see ;) Kashif, from Canada ~ 22nd Jun 2009

For a stay in Madrid, this place works out pretty well. It's hot (no air-conditioning) and the rooms are pretty devoid of character, but for a hostel it's ok. Free internet in 30 minute blocks is nice, and they do have a fully stocked bar/kitchen. The breakfast is pre-packaged bread and cereal. It wasn't super clean but it was adequately so. Also, the whole place has a slightly dingy feel, like it's in desperate need of a facelift. Location wise, though, this can't be beat-dead center of the cit Stephanie, from USA ~ 23rd Jun 2009

Wonderful location, great balcony view of Gran Via at night. Staff is very helpful. Smoking is allowed in all common areas, but not in the rooms. Nicholas, from USA ~ 19th May 2009

Although overpriced, the location is probably the best in the city. For many, being 10 steps from Metro, the Gran Via, and having a balcony view may be worth the cramped rooms and truly ridiculous price of US $86 per night for a 2-star hostel. Alexander, from USA ~ 14th Apr 2009

I really liked staying in this hostel. The rooms are small, but clean. And the location is good, you can walk to everything, I never hab to go by metro. Nina, from Germany ~ 7th Apr 2009
