nice location but too complicated to get from the airport (2 metro combinations). No kitchen, so you can't cook. No breakfast included.. go to have breakfast to Mallorquina at Sol Square Emiliano Francisco, from Argentina ~ 13th Oct 2009

The two people who run the place are VERY nice and helpful, it's super cheap, and it really is right in the heart of Madrid. This could be good or bad though, depending on how much of a night owl you are, because all-night revelers on the street below will ABSOLUTELY keep you up if you are a light sleeper. Even a sound sleeper might have trouble without earplugs! Other than that, there are only two toilets in the whole place, so be prepared to wait if the hostel is full! Leah, from USA ~ 3rd Jul 2009

It was a good locaiton, next to gran via and within walking distance of Sol and great nightlife. The street was really load though, loud cars, motorcycles and people screaming late at night. A really nice place with great service, for a more calm or relaxing trip. Maybe not the best place to meet new people Samantha, from USA ~ 21st Jun 2009

Such a crapy place compared to other hostel but I believed it is good enough for a student to live in for a day and have fun Thang, from Australia ~ 23rd Jun 2009

Decent location, but the Tribunal stop may be closer than Gran Via. Shared bathroom wasn't the cleanest in the world, but nothing worse than what you'd have at home. Just not the 5-star Hilton clean. Good place, seemed to be family owned. Prob should be able to speak Spanish if you stay here to talk with the staff. Zachary, from USA ~ 9th Jun 2009

I am a 20 year old female I would not have felt safe walking to my hostel at night, however I was with two guys. The hostel was nice, safe, and in a great location. With a price that can't be beat and no need to spend more than sleeping hours in the hostel I recommend this place. Diane, from USA ~ 17th May 2009

Run by Cubans, this hostel is a nice place to stay in. Located in the center of Madrid, it has a great location. Too many rules for security but they were fine. However, too many beds to be in one room. Hector J, from Panama ~ 31st Mar 2009

The room was cute, no bunk beds but a bit cold. The main problem was that everything was on the same floor, which can get noisy at night. Also there is no kitchen or living area. Other than that, the place is good to stay for a night or two and its near a main shopping district and probably a 10-15 minute walk to Sol. Nichel, from USA ~ 26th Jan 2009
