Excellent place to stay in Mexico City. Quiet and safe neighbourhood, not far from the sights of the city.
Rooms/sanitary arrangements are clean, beds are comfortabel and the nicely furnished common area includes internet, phone, TV. There is also a patio to hang out/have breakfast.
The owner, Aaron, is very helpful and gives good advice to get along in Mexico City.
We would definitely stay there again, thx

Very helpful staff. Nice inner patio in which to relax. A bit far from center of town but once staff explained the way into town, it was quite easy to get around. Very safe, secure neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hostal Montejo. Aaron and Manuel (hostel hosts) are awesome. Always there for a good advise and always ready to help you if you do need anything. The hostel is in a very safe area (we walked around at night without any incidents) and clean. It is not the type of party hostel, but we have met plenty of nice backpackers there. Thank you Aaron for your help planning our trip. Without you, the trip would have been not half that cool! Hasta luego, Quang + Cuong

I Enjoyed my stay at Hostal Montejo. I was just in Mexico City for 2 days on my way to Peru. The place is pretty nice and clean and in a safe neighborhood. The Polanco district is within easy walking distance with restaurants shops and a few clubs. This Hostal is pretty tranquile so probably not a good place if you want to party all night.

Es el mejor hostel que se puede ir en DF. El lugar tiene mucho encanto, paredes pintadas de vivos colores, cuadros de Frida Kalho y un pati interior fresco y agradable. Aaron, el manager, es atento, amable y fiable. Conoce perfectamente la ciudad i siempre te dara los mejores consejos para que puedas disfrutar de Mexico City de una forma segura y económica. Seguro que volveré.
