I spent two weekend nights in July 08 and plan on returning for two more nights later. The most prominent aspect of this hostal for me was that it was spotlessly clean. The staff was extremely helpful, the neighborhood quiet and safe and the hostal also was quiet and safe. I would recommend it to anyone. Did I mention it was spotlessly clean!

We had an excellent time at Hostal Montejo. From the very moment that we arrived, Aaron made every effort to ensure that we were having a great time. He recommended excellent places for food and even sat with us for ages to try and plan out our days and sights to see. More than anything, Aaron saved our trip. We had made plans to visit other parts of Mexico afterwards and, if it were not for Aaron, our plans would have turned out to be a disaster. aaron & manuel are amazing hosts-- they really make you feel welcome and are happy to help you with any questions and quick to give you great suggestions. the hostel is safe, and the ambience is perfect. when i book my next trip to DF, i will be sure to stay with aaron & manuel!
i felt really relaxed and comfortabl at hostal montejo. the owner, aaron, was very calm and helpful. the place was emmaculately clean and wonderfully quiet so i could sleep.

What a find! Hostal Montejo was suggested by an acquaintance in Cuernavaca who had only heard of it... I was happy to let her know that it's a real gem, located within walking distance of Chapultepec Park. My attitude toward Mexico City was much improved by my stay at the hostel. Manuel & Aaron were both were gracious and helpful.

Very good and clean hostel! Nice and quiet place and not expensive. Especially the owner Aaron is very helpful and kind, he helps you to find your way around and has some nice tips. I highly recommend this place!
