For all people that do not want to stay in a busy hostel with a bar, game rooms or whatever, hostel Moratin in down town Valencia is the place to be. Communicating with the staff if you're not able to speak Spanish can be difficult, but you'll manage :) Roel, from Netherlands ~ 4th Oct 2009

A pleasant and quiet place. Simple breakfast offered in AM at e2.50 a head. 3 blocks walk from the train station and bull ring. right in the center of town, close to main plaza, resturants, bars etc.... Ideal for either couples or the single traveler. Kristian, from USA ~ 2nd Oct 2009

The furniture reminds a bit of old times in East Germany. There is no common room and so it's hard to get the feeling for a hostel community or to have a little party, even more. But it's quiet, clean and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately there was no internet and no kitchen to use. Steffen, from Germany ~ 15th Sep 2009

Nice place, looked like a proper Spanish flat rather than a hostel. Was very quiet, and if you want to meet other travellers like what happens in a regular youth hostal it's not ideal. Staff were on the whole excellent, eccentric and welcoming, and didn't mind that we hardly spoke any Spanish; apart from the fellow who worked there in the evenings, who took our mangling of his language as a slight and continually reproved us for imagined lapses of ettiquette.
