The staff was great, very helpful and willing to help and recommend good places to visit. The place is simple, but nice. Breakfast included is simple, but not bad. Some mosquitos or bugs bit my girlfriend both nights. But other than that its great! Recommended Jaime, from Mexico ~ 11th Oct 2009

Nice hostel, nice staff, but with a serious lack of hammocks in the garden and hot water in the kitchen, everybody got sick while i was there. Rosa, from Denmark ~ 18th Apr 2009

Hostal Pochon is ok, but you can find better for the same price and well located in Oaxaca. The lockers in the dorms are too small to fit a backpack, that's why i've been stole. Melanie, from Canada ~ 5th Jan 2009
