Hostal Republica in Lucca, Bolivia

The staff at the reception was quite arrogant. They had our name on their list but at first they did not have a room for us and they didn´t accept the contract with hostel.com. So we had to pay more! For the first night they put us in a really bad room and we had to change the next morning. In the second room the toilet was leaking from the beginning and they didn´t do anything about it although they told they would. Water was sometimes hot. The showers were cold, although staff said it was possible to get hot showers all guests seemed to be complaining of similar problems. Rooms dark and basic although much more expensive than alternatives. Good cafe to buy breakfast though. chloe, from England ~ 7th Apr 2011
