I take my right to answer your last review because i think there are some things that need to be clear:
1. For the "lousy hostel" thing, we think that you were in a very bad mood (like you show us during your stay with us) when you write this review.
We advice you to be more objective with your qualifications on the future.
2. For the location "a bit off center", you hallucinate totally. We are one of the best located hostels in town, just three blocks from the main plaza and around the corner of the tourist walk street.
3. For the "far away from bus station", let me remind you that the bus station of San Cristobal is located at 10 minutes walking from downtown, so a 15 min walk through the hostel. You are the first that get complained for that. Everybody that gets to San Cristobal has to do the same walk or take a taxi.
4. For the "small and dirty rooms", yes, our rooms are small but standard. They are delivered to the client clean and in perfect conditions. We donīt take responsibility for bad use or bad smell that you can cause during your stay. Besides, why will you need AC in San Cristobal, where is well known that nights are cold? You exaggerate and complain a lot.
5. For the "loud music during the night", being the hostel located in downtown among bars and restaurants, you had the bad (or good) luck that the bar in front had a Salsa Cubana concert during the night, we are not responsible for that.
6. For the "dirty bathrooms", we try that they stay clean all day but we canīt be responsible for all the mess that other customers do. Everyday we clean them as frequently as possible. Instead of complaining (again) you should let us know in the moment. And yes the sink was broken but the repair was in process, we were waiting for the missing piece. Remember that we have two other bathrooms that you could use without problems.
7. For the "breakfast not available", you had to know that the breakfast time is from 8 am to 10 am like is written in the rules of the hostel. Sorry but we have working hours and it was impossible to give you breakfast at 6:30 am or 7 am to only you and your fancy needs.
We feel sorry that your staying in our hostel was so terrible, the next time pay more and stay in a 5 stars.
