- “ More of a hotel than a hostel. We got a private bedroom, ensuite, everything was very clean. It even had a TV, though we didn't use it. Apart from that, there was no common room or kitchen area and we didn't see any other guests while we were there. Also, the part of town was a bit sketchy, we're both female and we got odd looks and shouts from the men around the street, so it felt a bit sinister. Good for a sleep-over if you're going further to Morocco since it's close to the port. ”

- “ Might be a good idea to invest in some higher quality dead bolts for the rooms. did not feel safe at all with the wimpy little bolt lock on the door. Otherwise, I liked my stay there well enough. ”

- “ The hostel was nice but in a run down part of the city with ladies of the night standing at the corner. It was fine by me everyone has to make a living but I don't thing this hostel is for the faint of heart. The owners are a nice couple who don' t speak any English at all, actually the whole city is like that. My impression of Algeciras, there is too much animosity between the UK and Spain over Gibraltar, so people seem a little less courteous to English speaking people. This is only my opinion ”

- “ In our room was an awfull smell and the bedsheets had stains. We had asked for a bathroom but you couldn't really call this a bathroom. It was just a toilet and a shower behind a wall of glass where you could see trough. It was also open at the top so you could hear each other while going to the toilet. The doors of the bathroom didn't open properly because when we closed them we couldn't get out anymore. Although the staff was very friendly. I hope they have better rooms then the room we had. ”
