This place is 'ok' if all you plan to do is relax at the beach nearby. Not that great if you want to see Sardinia, unless you get a car - which are expensive there. Also, no kitchen and the beds are so thin and rubbish.

Hostel is in quiet place, but doors in houses are very noisy. The man at the reception is very nice, but later there was women, so she wasn't very nice. It's bad that there is no kitchen, so you can't make anything by yourself and for breakfast there is only roll with tea. But in whole for such price it's quite good.

Not the best hostel in the world, but I agree with my fellow commentors: it is really good value for money! the 6bed dorm was huge and no bunk beds! main drag in my opinion is that there is no kitchen to prepare your own food. the staff is not overly friendly, but i found them o.k.

Basic, does the job in terms of bed for the evening, bathrooms were very clean (good showers. Not much going on at hostel or in Fertilia. Alghero is a bus ride away (buses every hour) or you can walk (takes about an an hour and 15) Bit of a pain but price makes up for it, anything in Alghero for one is much more expensive. Beach very close but nicer beaches are half way between Fertilia and Alghero or round other way towards Porto Conte. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

I loved the location as its away from all the resorts/aparments in Alghero. Hostel is in a nice & quiet location and has good links to Alghero. I would recommend that the hostel has more brochures and tourist information available in the reception area. Friendly staff. Thanks for a good stay!!

I love Sardinia! However, from what I saw, I liked Cagliari better than Alghero...location aside, however, this hostel was very basic but very adequate. The location near the airport made it very convenient, as I had an early flight, but there\'s not a whole lot to do in Fertilia, so be warned. Only complaint: better directions are needed. Take the bus to Fertilia (I took it from Sassari...also from Alghero). The bus drops you off in the main square of town and you go to the left. All I know is it was dark, quiet, and not well marked...the hostel is a collection of bungalows to your right, and though it\'s not sketchy, it can kind of appear that way. Either way, it\'s the cheapest place to stay in Sardinia, and I loved Sardinia, so go...and just look for the hostel really, really hard!
