Good hostel, quiet - near the centre of town. Only one male and one female shower etc - but overall nice
This hostel has a lot of character: It's quite cozy and homey. The common living room is inviting and the bedrooms are very spacious. The location near the tea house is great! The man who runs the hostel is helpful and very kind. The view from the balcony is quite pictaresque. Really, a gorgeous location and charming hostel. It's one of the nicest (if not, the nicest) I've ever stayed in. Downsides: The heat wasn't working properly for half of our stay which made for a very cold morning. Also, the hostel was broken into in a door that the guests weren't aware of (and had been locked before) and some guests had money or valuables stolen.

The girl who was working at the hostel(alone) during my stay was really nice, always happy and helpful even if she had lots of things to do. Thank you so much for everything!

This is a very cozy place with family like atmosphere and the best view in town. The breakfast on the big terrace overlooking the historical city was a touching experience.

We were the only people staying here, so it was very relaxing to have the whole house to ourselves! Decent kitchen, brilliant showers, friendly staff (though note that they aren\'t always there, but will be there for your check in if you get the time right!). This place would be amazing in Summer with more people, as the region has so much to explore!

I ask for reservation in Bratislava and when I arrived to Bratislava, I saw that it was in a Village 80Km far from Bratislava. I hope do not see the bank charge.

For a place to rest and catch some zzzz you won't find any better. The bloke at Hostel 6 was brilliant, very helpful and full of tips. The view from the hostel would be hard to beat anywhere in the world. Not a place to go if you are looking for excitement. Best to watch the world go past and read a book.
Banska Stiavnica is really a nice place to go. It´s close to Bratislava, with direct buses. You have a few sites to see around and also any lakes where swimming is possible. The village is quite quiet but you will find all you need. This hostel is really nice, on the top of the village, with an overviewing terrace. The guy there is very nice. He is a traveller who bought and rebuilt this house with a friend, doing a really really good job. You really feel beeing at home in a summer house. It´s the best place I ever stayed in since I began travelling. I planned to stay one day and finally I spend three days there. Definitely a place to go if you want to travel off the beaten track.
