The hostel is quite far out from the city centre, about half an hour on the bus. Considering the price this hostel was ok, the beds were clean and staff were helpful. However I wouldn’t recommend this hostel for anyone wanting to stay for longer than a couple of nights. Shower was a cubicle in the corner of the room so there was no privacy from the rest of the guests and condensation made the whole room damp. Also other guests told me stories of waking up to find mice in their beds. Only for those who don’t mind roughing it!

I had a great time, and found the hostel to be clean and cool. It is a bit far from down town, but it immediately next to a tube stop, giving very easy access. Overal, a great experience.

My first opinion of the hostel was: what is this gonna be? The outside is not the fancient building. The rooms are comfortable, and there is a shower in every room. But the shower is not working correctly, so we had to shower with cold watter. There are enogh toilets on every floor, and the beds are nice. The hostel is right across the Kensal Green Tube station, and downtown London is 20 minutes away. The atmosphere in the hostel is nice, especially Jo. If you fancy a cheap hostel, this is a possibility, but if you want to be closer to downtown London pick another one. It`s cheap, but not the fanciest hostel around.

I don't like Hostel 639, I think I will not come back ever, and I can't recomended to anyone. The place was dirty, but that's ok, It's only for a few nights. The worst was that "shared bathroom" means the shower in the room (no wall between the shower and beds). So, the room was very wet (the floor...), smell bad, ... And when we arrived we can't have a shower for not disturb people that they were sleeped. We had to pay for everything: the towels, the coocking menage. There's not lockers in the room. It was horrible!!

This hostel is good for a weekend. But if you want to stay longer! In the rooms, there is no space to store clothes. The road is very noisly. The kitchens are very poorly equipped: a single microwave, no refrigerator, no dishes (though, it is necessary to remove at the reception, leaving a deposit and must be return before 23h).
