very very friendly staff! I booked myself by mistake as a lady, then male dorm was full - so nice receptionist indeed believed me I made typo mistake and helped me - acomodated in single room and she was kind ehought not to increase the price. Don\\\'t tell her manager though ;-) stronlgy recommend this hostel, eventhough its \\\"just\\\" a student dorm normally - so it misses charm of cosy, backpackers hostels

the room was quite dirty, table tops, inside closets not swept or cleaned. The toilet had a huge permanent and indestructible brown stain, couldn't get rid of it no matter what we did. There could definitely be more opportunities for interaction with others, although the sauna was great for this purpose. Security - are all those locks really necessary?
Everything says check+in from 2pm but then lots get turned away until 4 or 5 ´frustrating!

Very nice hostel -- very clean and centrally located, a short walk from the harbour and train station. It does have a student hall of residence feel (hence the name) but that\'s not a bad thing. The common room was also good for meeting fellow guests. Recommended.

Nice if there was essentials available from reception. Maybe a hire service for kettels pots etc.
