- “ Excellent location, in an old house just by the Zocalo. Well maintained house. Very friendly staff, specially a woman that was also helpful and informative. It's a bit expensive though, for the average Mexican prices. We got a private double room, and it was by far the most pricey of our whole Mexican holiday. If you don't want to sleep in a dorm, check out the many hotel alternatives. ”

- “ The staff was nice which made it difficult for me to confront them about the fact that they doubled the price on me even though I had a receipt from hostel.com with a different balance. They told me that the 11 dollars I already paid (which I thought was the total) was only a down payment. Needless to say I was not happy and I went in search of another hostel the next morning and found Hostel Don Miguel at half the price. Enjoyed it much better than Hostel Alcala and recommend it! ”

- “ When we arrived, the only thing they knew about the reservation was our name. They didn`t know number of guests, type of room, number of days.They gave us a very, very small for mitory type of room but for the same price. On your site, it is mentioned there is no fee for the reservation. The hostel staff told us that 10 % we paid in advance was to you. The surrounding is very, very noisy. Yves Rioux ”

- “ Las habitaciones no estan divididas por paredes sino por separadores y se escucha todo lo que hablan los demas. Hay camas cucheta y casi ni lugar para moverse. El desayuno es muy malo, para los que vamos usualmente a hostel es una muy mala opcion. ”
