Since Hostal Amigo was closed, I was transferred to Hostal Moneda.Since I didn't have a choice I was not very happy about them charging the original(Amigo) price, although the Moneda charges less. Nevertheless I really enjoyed my stay.

Only one computer with constantly functioning Internet (the other one out of order from time to time). Apart from that, nothing to complain about. Decent breakfast and dinner. Good tours.

Very near Zocalo. Due to no window inside the 6-beds room, sound rebound and smell can't be blown away. Just one power socket in a room! The distance between upper and lower beds is not big enough. It is easy to hit your head if you stay at lower bed. The portion of dinner is not enough but breakfast is OK. Bathroom is clean.

Price is ok as breakfast & dinner is included otherwise too expensive compared to what you can get elsewhere in Mexico City/ Mexico. Bring your earplugs as it's quite noisy.

Hostel Amigo is a great choice- clean, good location and a great place to meet fellow travelers. They offer lots of fun tours as well; don't miss wrestling on Friday nights!

Great place, good value with 2 meals included. Everybody who worked there during the day was pleasant, although one or two of the nighttime employees was extremely surly.

This hostel was excellent. We had the best time with the staff and other travelers and they were next to lots of key sights in the City. They also offered daily tours to several places, the highlight being the all-day tour of Teotihuacan. The price is right and the people are friendly and fun, can't beat it!!
