- “ First time in nice, didn't know a lot about the the region. But there is a great atmosphere amoung all other travellers and staff. The receptionist Nicole, with her friendliness and kindness told me all things things to do and see and made the trip better than I could have expected. That mixed with champagne nights at the hostel and many stories... = perfect trip Really impressed overall with everything Can't wait to go back. ”

- “ This was my second time here and both times were fantastic. The staff may be the best I've ever had in a hostel. They were kind enough to upgrade us from a dorm to a double/twin room. Front desk staff spoke English & French, and Nicole was amazingly helpful. She gave perfect recommendations for a nice Italian restaurant, a cheap & delicious naan cafe, and pointed out a great ice cream/yogurt spot. There was also a fun champagne party. Can't wait to go back and hope Nicole will still be there! ”

- “ Excellent location, very close to the station, and about 15 mins walk from the Beach and the Old Town. Carry your own locks to use cage like lockers below the bed (very convenient). ”

- “ I was traveling alone and this place was just fine. The room had 6 people in it every night, but I still got a good night's sleep every night except one. The Spaghetti Parties are a nice touch, and the Internet was much appreciated. The only real gripes I had were that the wireless would go off sporadically, and the big communal kitchen was not open until 8am. Even at 8am, the hotel workers were still cleaning the kitchen. I had to wait until 9 before I could get in there to eat something. ”

- “ The staff in the Baccarat Hostel was very nice to us and the hostel remembered me a lot of a hotel, because it had a lot of rooms and fresh towels everyday and a reception. I really enjoyed the Pasta and Wine, where you met people and could eat and drink for only 2 euros. They have a lot of computers with internet and the rooms have air-condition. The only thing i didnt like was that the kitchen was a little dirty, but for the price we payed we got more than expected! ”

- “ We really enjoyed our stay at your hostel, one thing that can be improved though is the kitchen, it would need some more pots and pans and the stove could be fixed a little. ”

- “ The hostel is a good budget hostel. There were many great things about the hostel such as: Good value VERY close to the train station Many nearby restaurants Friendly staff Free internet Free computers available Rooms clean But there were some bad things as well: The rooms are advertised as 6 bed dorms. But really there are 12 bed dorms with a wall partway in between. The bathroom (shared per 12 beds) had no lock. There was no handsoap in the bathroom. Told staff, nothing happened. ”

- “ The cheapest dorming option is a little cramped, and the advert about A/C is a little conditional depending on the room, but its a spectacular location considering its proximity to both the train station and the tram that can take you all the way to the beach. ”

- “ I had such a great time in Baccarat Hotel. The Owner (Dan) is so nice. He is trying his best to make your stay unique. He is doing champagne parties nearly every night and he gave me a free upgrade to another room. I can just highly recommend to stay at that place, cause u meet so many people and all the staff is just so so nice. ”
