j'aime bien cet petit hôtel, il est calme, surtout c'est tout près de la gare, c'est super, avec la douche et les toilettes et le prix moins cher, je vous le propose, allez-y. li, from China ~ 2nd Nov 2011

This was a very nice hostel, very near to the train station. I got there very late in the night and I had no problem finding it on my own without a map. There was a party going on downstairs and the noise didn`t get to the my room, even though it was on the 1st floor. The only problem I had there was that the internet was not working and the employees did nothing about it. Laura, from Brazil ~ 4th Sep 2011

Good location to las ramblas . A 15-20 minute walk to the beach which is a bit of a pain but right opposite the train station. Owner is lovely and throws free champagne parties so it's really social. Kitten is handy too Teagan, from Australia ~ 1st Sep 2011

We were really lucky, the upgraded us from dorm to hotel room. It was a real bonus. Staff are very friendly and Internet access is fantastic. There are 6 computers that u can use 24hrs a day. Perfect location when u are traveling by train. Marion, from Australia ~ 19th Aug 2011

Although I had a pretty invasive and confronting experience with the night receptionist upon my arrival, Hotel Baccarrat was a great place to stay, being so close to the beach and train station especially. The courtyard was a great place to meet people and the hostel threw a free champagne party for everyone in the hostel. Fun times.. Grace, from Australia ~ 27th Jul 2011

Is good - more like a hotel than hostel and the free champagne nights were a great way to meet people. Is close to train station which is ideal for bags but not necessarily for touristy stuff - but then Nice is not that large that you can easiy walk to beach in 15 minutes. Museums are close. Would prefer if they let you keep the keycards for your room rather than having to get it back each time - that didnt seem too secure... Claire, from Australia ~ 14th Jun 2011

The hostel is very nice. The owner makes an effort to make everyone feel welcome. There are frequent champagne parties, so it is good for meeting new people as a lone traveler. The rest of the staff are very friendly as well. Jackie, from USA ~ 3rd Jun 2011

This is a wonderful hostel!Very professional! It has a front desk and the rooms are located upstairs. The rooms are very clean. The staff is so wonderful. They checked us in late and because of that, they upgraded our rooms for FREE! We went from 6 people room to a 2 person room. The owner of the hostel is very involved and tries to get to know everyone. They even had a pasta night for 1 Euro (i think).I would definitely come back when I can.
