The only good thing about it was the view and the dog, and by dog im referring to the friendly labrador, not the manager of the hostel.

We had a fab time at Hostel Brikette, all the staff were lovely and it is in a great location with fantastic views. We enjoyed our stay so much that we returned to spend our last night in Italy there. Great place to stay and great prices. You have to try Nicky's cocktails too its so yummy.

The owners and managers were very unfriendly. It was loud and dirty. They dont give you a top sheet and there is no soap and usually no toilette paper in the bathroom. The showers leak and there is water running down the bathroom stairs! They are only in the business to make money. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This could be a great hostel if it weren't for all the rules (and the rude staff)! There's a great terrace balcony overlooking the coast (which is pretty much the common area) but you can't sit out there unless you buy something from the bar! You can't take your own food or alcohol onto the terrace either! Staff are rude and unhelpful. Shame it's the only hostel in the area.

No redeeming quality about this hostel. Staff is very rude. Beds uncomfortable due to the plastic covered mattresses. No air conditioning. No toilet paper. Hostel doesn't allow outside food or drink, even in the bedrooms...odd policy given their lack of kitchen. Do NOT stay here.

There was only one staff member that was a real problem, everyone else was excellent. They are a small hostel with newer mananagment so they are a bit unorganized. But Positano is really worth it all.
