Hostel Brothers in Cairo, Egypt

The staff was very helpful. They let us store our bags there later in our trip and they emailed immediately after booking to offer free airport pickup which made arriving in Cairo much less of a hassle. Ben, from USA ~ 5th Nov 2009

Nice people, very friendly. Room was very clean. Owners are two brothers about the age of 25. Bathrooms smelled like sewer quite badly. The community shower was not clean and didn't drain very well so I was standing in about a foot of water while showering. Every night the staff (owners) was very loud in the common area blaring the tv until about 2 am. Ean, from USA ~ 12th Oct 2009

The staff here were fantastic. Very helpful and funny to boot! Being introduced to other people staying in the hostel was a nice touch. The breakfast was a bonus and the location perfect as it's only a few blocks from the museum.The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful when planning your trips around Egypt. Great location, close to everything and easy to find. The hostel was clean and provided a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and helpful in recommending and booking sites, tours and transportation. There were no pushy or demanding salespeople, just genuine quality hospitality.
