If you choose to stay in a 30-bed dorm, please remember to bring your own lock in order to use the locker. I was lucky that all the people staying in the big room were quiet and slept quite early. Bathroom is far from the dorm and kitchen is a bit dirty. You can walk to the beach which is nice. And must visit the four canals and Abbot Kinney Blvd. It's convenient to get to the LAX transit center, the bus stop is just outside the hostel. Man Yee, from Hong Kong ~ 7th Aug 2009

It was nice staying at this hostel. The staff was very helpful. You could rent a bike for one day. There were good bus connections, for going to Santa Monica (20 minutes to get there by bus), or other places. Also a good price. I was in other hostels in L. this hostel was adequate it was a bit noisy at night but was clean enough. Thanks. It would be good on the website with how to get to the hostel from the airport if u added how to get to the big blue bus stop, ie take the airport free bus C to the lax transit centre. this would have been useful for us. I was in L.A. for my daughter\\\'s Master\\\'s graduation from CSU and not enough room at the house. So all I needed was a clean bed in a safe place, which the hostel provided.
