Really lovely staff here, but the room was a bit cramped (we had six room bunk plus a person on the floor) and the bathroom and kitchen were dirty.

first of all the guys who work at carpe are AWESOME! they\'re super friendly and willing to answer any question u hav, even though they\'ve probably answered it a hundred times..its a bit of a hike to get to if ur walking, but theres a pretty regular bus..kinda looks like a guy\'s sharehouse, and is as clean as u\'d expect from that kinda place..not too bad tho..this is not the place for u if u want a HI type of place..but if u want to meet lovely croatian people and stay in a relaxed environment, then go to carpe! we\'d stay again! thanks for everything!

A funky place to stay, with friendly hosts. Did manage to get chatting to fellow guests despite the hectic pace of being them and me being in transit at odd hours.
Truthfully the best hostel Ive stayed in to date. It was truly hard to leave and we even extended our stay an extra day. The hostel was in a perfect part of town, walkable from the city center. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Young guys who not only provided us with tons of information on what to do in Zagreb, but went the extra mile and even took us out. Perfectly clean and great facilities. If you visit Zagreb dont think about staying anywhere else!!!
Once you find the hostel up the steep little hill (follow directions exactly as stated and you shouldnt have a problem) then you will find yourself amongst the friendliest, most helpful, most informative hostel staff in croatia! we had an awesome time and would recommend to all! ps. Jospeh makes a great wake up coffee!!!!!!
this is THE best hostel we have ever stayed in. people that own it are amazing. its clean. 10mins walk from centre. altough..not for people who like the quiet life. LOVED writing on the walls.

we only stayed one night instead of two because i screwed up the dates when i booked the hostel. the guys at the hostel were pretty cool about it. there weren`t that many people staying there and i think that would have made it more fun. but not a bad time and the guys that own it were really helpful.
