The family here were incredibly friendly and helpful and the hostel was immaculately clean for the four days we stayed here. The walls are freshly painted and the bathroom is modern and new. We loved the hostel and felt it was in a perfect location to explore old town and see all of the city that we wanted. They even met us at the bus to help us find our way to the hostel! This hostel had SO much potential. The staff was exceedingly friendly, the rooms were great (tv! with english channels!), and everything was incredibly clean. However... it kind of felt like a tomb, was dead silent, granite everywhere, no kitchen or hang-out room. Worth the money, but don't expect to want to spend time at the hostel.
