Excellent location, with nice staff at other site (where you check in and can leave your suitcases etc). However, our room had a lot of broken appliances - door handles, lights, shower head, which wasn't so good, and the room could have been a bit cleaner. Catherine, from England ~ 2nd Oct 2009

A nice hostel in a nice place, directly in the center of brussel. We were lucky to meet someone from the staff, normaly you need to make a 10min walk to an other hostel. But the location a very good Andre, from Germany ~ 14th Sep 2009

Very clean hostel in the best location possible. About 25-50 feet from the market square, which is a great place to hang out at night. Free internet and coffee in the morning. Very secure as key card was needed to enter the hostel. Michael, from USA ~ 2nd Jun 2009

Its a good price for the rooms and the location. But i found it totally unacceptable that it was neccessary to make a 20 minute walk to another hostel in order to get the key to the room. This actually happen to me twice since i had problems with the key. I would never have stayed there if I had been informed about that in advance.
The checkin adress is different from the adress where you will e staying and is mentioned on the website. It is a 10min. walk from Hostel Grand Place. You first need to go there to get your keycard. We do not have staff at the Hostel Grand Place. But this is how we can keep prices so low at the best location in the city. Otherwise we would have to charge almost double the price. Our philosopy: Why pay more because you are staying in the best location in town? Best price, best location but you do need to make a little effort. 2GO4 Quality Hostels.
