This was nothing like a hostel, more like a personal apartment. My husaband and I booked a private double room with shared bathroom. There was 1 other room on our floor and we NEVER saw other guests or had to wait for the bathroom, which was large and clean. At arrival the owner gives you a key to the building and front door along with your room. There is a communial fridge which we stored wine, juice and chesses without concern. It is more like flats in apartments than a hostle. But the first night we had a really nice and spacey flat wich was very central. The second flat wasn't as spacey, but very OK and nice staff. Highly recommended if you want more privacy. Joakim, from Sweden ~ 21st Jul 2009

The hostel is very nice and in a great location for nightlife, within 5 minute walking distance of many bars. The staff is nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Florence. Michael, from USA ~ 16th Mar 2009
