  • Hard to get any sleep - the walls are made of glass and you can hear everything going on in the next room. Several of the residents appeared to be long-term and "down and out".

  • I had the idea, that the manager didn't like me very much. But i have no i idea why... The hostel manager was also a bit arrogant en thought he was a movie star or something like that. He even has a small television in the bathroom with a movie playing of him dancing, i dont know about the rest. But when I'm taking a dump i don't really like to watch to a man dancing on beyonce...

  • Located off of University Ave in San Diego, this hostel was excellent. I booked this hostel three days before and they still had rooms to stay in. For my friend who is a lesbian, the location of the hostel could not have been more perfect as the place puts you in the heart of San Diego's gay district and the management is gay friendly. The rooms are diverse and spacious and besides for a drunk roommate the stay was perfect. I'd highly recommend this hostel for the weekend.

  • Everything was perfect, all was clean, sheets were clean and the staff was really nice. They answered any questions I had and were friendly. The only thing that I disliked was finding parking around Hillcrest. I found a parking garage that I stayed overnight and payed $20 from 11 PM to 12 PM.

  • We stayed here for 3 days at the end of July and we loved it. Few miles from the airport (hostel offers shuttle service) , 45/60 minute ride to beaches, 10 minute walk to Balboa park, 15 minute bus to downtown. Plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars in the area. Clean, new, quaint. Staff is amazing, beds are great. Only con: showers open to kitchen , so you've got to be comfortable with that- small hostel though, so it didn't present a problem for us. A/C off a night made room hot.

  • The owner and staff are super cool, very helpful and insightful. The area is very stylish and clean, and there is always someone there no matter what time you show up at. I definitely enjoyed my stay.
