Hostel Kremlin in Moscow, Russia

This place is awful, not what is advertised on the internet at all and is dirty and poorly equipped. We arrived quite late at night to find that this is a room in somebodys house. No sheets on the bed, no secure door, bathroom was abismal. We felt so uncomfortable there that we left and stayed in a hotel in the centre of moscow instead. The hostel is located in a rather dodgy looking area, and don't be fooled by the name. it is miles away from the kremlin!!! Anthony, from Australia ~ 15th Mar 2009

it was really nice, though i don't know what the hostel-standards in moscow usually are like. compared to some st.-petersburg hostels i know, cleanlyness unfortunatley is only a 2 out of 5. on the other hand, its more like a private appartment with some of the rooms used for housig the guests. so i assume that it's difficult to compare to an all-clean-facility-like hostel. but his makes it a plus in style.
