Overall, this was a very good place to stay in Mendoza. It was a little too far from restaurants and bars in the main street but the staff and the hostel itself were very nice. The communal areas were very comfortable and made for a good environment to meet and chat with other travellers. The breakfast and bathrooms were OK. The dorms were quite spacious and equipped with lockers and air-conditioning. TIP: don´t be foolish and leave the window open - you will get eaten alive by mozzies. I was in pain for a good four or five days after being bitten hundreds of times on our first night.

Had a great time at hostel lao! Love the relaxed atmosphere in the garden out the back.. also very friendly resident amigos y perros. Difficult to leave both Mendoza & Lao!

great place, loved how breakfast was available until 11am or even later. Very helpful staff. the outer dorm by the street was noisy even with the shutters closed so avoid that room if possible. otherwise i highly recommend it

Friendly, relaxing place. Would stay here again. About 6 blocks from the real nightlife but still not a bad location. Close to the bus station.

adorable hostel, glad we stayed there, but there was a dinner at the hostel on saturday night and afterwards, the party goers cranked really loud music until about 2 am--organized and encouraged by the owner! it was all in good fun, but we had to get up to do activities the next morning and were not pleased.crazy dogs.

This was the best hostel I ever stayed at. The common areas where amazing, the breakfast was ample, and the host and staff were unmatched. It was the kind of place where it was easy to see how much pride they had in putting together a great stay for guests. It was just like staying at someone's awesome house where you were the favored guest. You would be silly to stay anywhere else in Mendoza!
