You pay for what you get. This hostel was very dirty and had 1 shower but it was nicely located. Stay here if you don't plan on spending any time actually in the hostel. The free breakfast is soup BTW

bathroom was appaling. smoking is allowed inside the hostel room, cramped, not secure.

the bathroom was constantly a mess, and the doors didn't lock properly. place was filled with drunken idiots who smoked in your face while you tried to sleep. staff was helpful and very sweet, but couldn't make up for the shambles of the hostel.

like..we arrived off the bus at night..and they were there waiting for us but...we never told them how or when we"d be arriving..very strange..but in a good way:)

I enjoyed Sarajevo, and the hostel did try to make me comfortable towards the end, but I found that the advertising that the hostel is in the main square very misleading as I was taken to a house on the top of the hill about 10min walk outside of the main square. I chose the hostel because of the location, so was very upset by this. Normally I would not complain, but I was not explained what was happening & I have a bad leg, the reason I chose something central.

If you are looking for a super cheap place to stay and you are not too fussy this place was great. Everything was clean and the people were lovely. I had no problems whatsoever and they greeted me at the bus stop (although I only told them I was coming from Croatia I didn\'t give them a time) to drive me to the hostel. Great, loved it, so glad I booked it, was expecting the worst but pleasently surprised.

People at the hostel are great and helpful. Prices are good except for the tour that can be done to the war tunnel, that costs a little too much considering that the guide does not say very much. All in all, if you are looking for a Hostel in the old center of Sarajevo, Hostel Ljubicica is perfect.
