The building is old - no lift and old plumbing - but it\'s clean and the staff are great. It\'s right near the central railway and you can walk to most of the tourist sites or take trams or buses to places further away. We enjoyed our stay here immensely.

Great location, friendly staff... Is in an old building which is kind of run down which as a result doesnt make it a "fun" environment. doesnt matter, molly malones is just around the corner!

hostel mekka was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. the building is old and the interior is in need of updates. the location is fantastic - only a couple blocks from the train station and the downtown. I suggest they upgrade their furniture, and interior. the doors need repairs through out. I would stay there again.

You can't complain on the staff and the locaction and all that, but the building is terribly run down and in serious need of a renovation.
I stayed there with my 10 y.o. son, off-peak. Location is the best it can get. Though no kitchen, plates and utensils can be borrowed at the 24-hour reception, they also will give boiling water. Toaster is in common area to use.
