Hostel Meson de Tulum - Hostel

It is an original place with its own essence, the wood of the region is used to create the structure of the tables and bedframes which gives a unique touch like no other. The fresh atmosphere rendered by the beatiful thatch is very special. The precio...

fairly worn out decor and basic kitchen ( but very importantly all kept clean) , very good location in downtown Cancun, less than 10 mins walk from the bus terminal and therefore good value if you need somewhere to rest your head, supermarkets are close by. I started my Mexico trip there and will probably book my last night there too.

I was very angry because I couldnt get a internet connection in my room. So I always had to go in the garden. The mosquitos thanked me alot. The staff didnt seem to be interested in the problem. So if internet is necessary for you think twice about this place

I stayed here last year. This year the Hostel was much improved. I liked very much that they sent specific instructions on how to locate them. I went out of the ADO termi9nal and walked directly there.

We only stayed here for one night, getting in late so don't take our comments too seriously. The pool and sitting area was really nice, the place served a decent breakfast but the room we had was a little dingy (but had air con). Very close to the bus terminal which for us was handy.

The double room I was in could be opened from the outside as the window was broken actually so one could protrude the hand inside. That didn't give me a great sense of security, especially as I felt like they didn't watch too much at the entrance either who was coming in and out.

This was the only property that was available last minute. It was very ok, it was basic. I had a private room. The location is nice since it\'s on the main avenue where you can get the busses to the hotel zone. Saw a roach once in the room.
