This place is a treasure in Sofia! The staff go above and beyond to make sure each guest is comfortable and taken care of. With both breakfast and dinner included, it's a great value for your money. The rooms were warm in winter, which is no easy task, and the atmosphere in the main room was welcoming. I cannot recommend Hostel Mostel more stay here! : ) One tip: Though the price listed on the website is in Euros, the hostel only takes Levas. Make your currency preparations accordingly. There is no way of saying just how truly superb the staff was! I am not easily impressed in this regard, but these guys completely surpassed my expectations. Warm, personal, friendly, helpful, resourceful and generous with their time, they charm each and every travel arriving at their door. The hostel itself is a small charming place. There are only 2 shower cabins and I haven't even seen the rooms, but the common room is OK and they cook dinners in the evening (pasta+beer)! Wonderful atmospher Olga, from Israel ~ 28th Nov 2011

Spent a wonder long weekend at this hostel! Friendly atmosphere and walking distance to most places in Sofia. Tip: It's better to take a cab if you can afford it. But write ahead or check the website for the "fair" prices. Don't get conned by the bad cabbies! Jared, from Singapore ~ 21st Aug 2011
