We stayed at the Novy Arbat for three nights, and we had a great time! They said the hostel was fully booked, (80 guest) and we didn't notice at all. It is very home-like with livingrooms, kitchen, free computers and breakfast is served slmost any time you like. Just be prepared to do your own dishes! Our kids could wander around the hostel without the parents worrying. The hostel has still to be completed, but the room was good and clean, and the toilets/showers were ok. I stayed here for eight nights in early August 2009. The manager and the owner run an excellent hostel. The breakfast is good, the wi-fi is fast, and the beds are comfortable. I had a great time at Hostel Novy Arbat. There is a very friendly staff and the manager/owner is even more helpful and a great guy. After a delay with my registration they did everything in their power to help me out and keep me from worrying to much about it. This was after leaving Moscow.
