this was a lovely place to stay, yang was amazingly helpfull and friendly!!! Location was excellent for us as we wanted to do the zoo and bird park etc. My only one criticism would be that it needs a lick of paint to brighten up those coulours again! Great place to stay.

Fun place with decorations that live up to the past reviews. Location is good for the Night Safari (amazing) and a convenient stop-off if you're looking to cross the Singapore/Malaysia border and take advantage of the cheap flights in JB.

Thank you, Yang for looking after us. We messed up the booking but Yang met us at 5.30am and accommodated us in a helpful and friendly manner.

What a cool, unique place! All the recycled items distributed throughout the hostel really adds to its character. And Yang is about the most helpful and friendly hostel owner you\'ll find anywhere! It\'s definitely pretty far away from most sightseeing spots in Singapore, but with the MRT so close by, it really doesn\'t pose much of a problem. Oh, and you can\'t beat free internet AND free laundry!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the host, Yang, provides entusiatic and balanced advice. The distance to the CBD is offset by the cheap MRT travel, and the qiuck walk from Marsiling station to the hostel.

It's a little out of town, but good to reach by bus and train and it's nice and quiet!
