I have reviewed the hostel we were taken too and not Hostel Placida as we turned up on the day and were moved to another place. We were chuffed as the place we got moved too was much nicer and the lady was lovely.

This is a hard place to find. They need to update their website with the directions, there is no Mcdonals in Spilt. However, the owers are super nice, and the place is really nice, but they also need to have a separate toilet, one cant wait for those taking a shower just to use the toilet. Overall, very nice place.

This place is difficult to find. The website directions guide you to the building, best signposted by the cyber cafe. The accommodation is on the second floor of the building, the entrance is the door on your left as you come onto the second floor landing. We had a gruff welcome (however the owner did have a cold) and were given the wrong room (for which we did receive a small reimbursement). It is in a good location, however I wouldn't stay here again.

the daughter of the hostel owner once tried to open the door when i was in the bathroom. I found that quite scary plus rude.
we had a lovely stay at Placida.. It was hard to find, and we felt a litle bit that we where living in someones home. But very nice and helpful staff and they knew alot about the town..The reception was hard to find, because there was none :p but we had no problems with that..

This was our favorite place we stayed! Anka and her son were so helpful and we could not believe the service we were getting for the amount me paid. By far the best place to stay in Dubrovnik because it is right in the center of the city walls! Stay here
