The lady who runs this hostel is fantastic!! She was extremely helpful in planning our trip to Teman Negara, The hostel is clean but the friendly staff make it wonderful.

Im glad to be asked to comment as i was going to report this anyhow. We strongly suspect a worker there (male, local) is using the format of billing, after booking thru you to conduct a scam. We booked 2 double rooms on my credit card. This took the deposit of ~$8 at the time. Each room was RM25 p.p.p/n We stayed 2 nights. When we got our bill it said charges; RM25 x 4 = 100 RM6.76 Service charge -RM20 deposit-to be deducted --------- RM206 TOTAL RM180 Balance due - deposit ................................... Our balance should have said RM 86 {(rm25 X 4)=RM100 + RM6.76 - RM20} He had done this on both our friends and ours, and when we queried he kept saying 'I only understand the bottom line, "balance due", that is what u owe'. I strongly suspect this is something he does to make extra income. Also, the service charge of RM6.76 was on both reciepts as was the RM20 deposit. Although this works in our favour RM20 is approx $7US, this does not add up either as Euro5 (approx RM25) was only billed from my account. Our friends left later and met a woman they thought was the boss, who the next morning was giving out about the mans behaviour to another staff member altho we're unsure how aware she was of the details? Perhaps you could-and should take a look into this, as if it is a scam its the booking system of your website which he is abusing. please feel free to contact me for any further information. kind regards hannah

It is a huge building with LOTS of rooms and good space. The shower and toilet facilities are brand new. They have internet access and a big TV and couchs to relax on. Location is perfect for everything in K.L. It is in China Town and first impression is a little dingy/dirty in the streets, but nothing that really hampers your experience and the hostel itself is clean.
