Free internet access is great. Good kitchen. English-speaking staff and most residents too.

Thanks for the review but it would have been good if you clarified why you only rated staff 2 out of 5. We pride ourselves on giving good service, information about Quito and being helpful. We normally receive a 5 rating for staff so a clarification would help us know where we can improve, regards, Matt

The place was clean, lots of windows, beds very comfortable, and the staff was helpful. It is close to public transport and the terrace had an outstanding view. I wish all of the hostels I stayed in were like this one. I heartily recommend!!! Nellie, from USA ~ 16th Jun 2009

Hostal Revolucion (Hostel Revolution) is, so far, the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I stayed in a bunch of hostels throughout europe as a student and this one has everything an ideal hostel ought: really clean facilities, great knowledgable staff, bar area and tv room for socializing, pretty rooftop terrace, good location, 2 free internet points inside with skype. The culture of the hostel is warm and friendly and the staff make you feel right at home. I was nervous going to Quito my first Mimi, from USA ~ 14th Jun 2009
