Our room had no character/personality - nothing on the walls and no color in the room (seemed somewhat like a prison/hospital room).

Really nice atmosphere to the whole hostel, very peaceful, good breakfasts, handy location for both town, coast and countryside, (we went everywhere in Helsinki by foot!) helpful staff, excellent bathroom etc - will definitely be back next year! :)
This is a student dorm that is used as a hostel in the summer. Basic but clean. Friendly staff. Excellent location.
