Superbe situation vraiment en plein centre ville à deux pas des offices du dôme... Juste le minimum mais bien propre...Vraiment l'idéal pour visiter tout Florence... ET tranquillité totale. Juste un bémol...au cinquième sans ascenseur!Mais il était en installation. Un plus pour les francophones la patronne et son fils parlent un français parfait! Pour le prix à recommander!!!!Un ascenseur et un peu de déco et ce serait vraiment parfait!!!!!

While the initial meeting with the son's owner was helpful we did not see the owner of this hostel for our 4 night stay. The bathroom had a mouldy shower curtain and wet towels were left lying on the floor. The bathroom was not cleaned for our entire stay either which was quite disconcerting as we were sharing with other guests.

Parfaitement situé à quelques pas de tous les musées et lieux de visites, Alekin offre des chambres spacieuses et propres et on y est reçu convivialement par Véronique et sa famille. C'est un endroit central idéal pour organiser un séjour à Florence. Très bon rapport qualité/prix et excellente situation.

We had a great room, big and with a window overlooking a market on via porta rossa. Right on the top floor. You are right in the middle of things, a fantastic location. Can be a little bit noisy between 8am and 11pm because of this. Staff were absolutely lovely. It was like having our own apartment. Loved it!!!
