Rooms were nice, but a bit cramped. air conditioning was very welcome as Manaus is extremely hot. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were helpful, and we made good use of the internet access and the fridge full of cold drinks

I would stay there again if I go to Manaus. But the staff could try to learn a little bit of english words so they can be more of help to the tourists that are not fluent in portugese

The staff did not speak a word of english or even tried to, so they were not able to help anyone with anything. Another thing is that the washing mashine could not be used at weekends ...that is pretty bad when almost all of the guests are returning from a jungle trip with everything dirty and counting on using the mashine. But othervise it was a good hostel with nice character , location and rooms.

Easily the most unfriendly and unhelpful hostel I have stayed in in 6 weeks in Brazil. I would not recommend it to anyone who does not have fluent portuguese. They gave me information for a tour company that doesn´t exist anymore and you would be lucky to get half a smile out of any of the staff.

This is a really nice hostel, it is in a good location, is clean and well-kept and the staff are helpful. Only downfalls are they don´t speak much English, the loo roll keeps running out and breakfast finishes too early!

A localização não poderia ser melhor, já q o albergue fica muito próximo do Teatro Amazonas, do Porto e da Zona Franca. A equipe é extremamente acolhedora e o ambiente tão familiar, q nos faz sentir em casa! Parabéns pelos momentos inesquecÃveis.

Really great hostel - location, clean rooms, spacious kitchen, and safe. The only downside were the jungle trip salesmen who plagued us while we were there!
