I have been to many hostels all over the world over the last 10 years and this is by far one of the best . It is more like a bed and breakfast . Your own clean, comfortable room and bath complete with towels and products for washing . A breakfast of fresh fruits, toast and jam and a delicious pot of coffee served to you at your own table . The staff is wonderful, kind and helpful . It is clean, very quiet and peaceful and even has a pool. Staying here was a wonderful and relaxing experience. Hostel is in a lovely, well built villa away from the crowds. Is in a very quiet area but still only short walk to the town square or the melacon. Read Owner Comments Kevin, from New Zealand ~ 30th Nov 2011

The villa and rooms are large and spacious. It is in a safe upper middle class suburb, very close to main streets where shops, restaurants and supermarket are located. It is also within walking distance to the historical site, the sea, beach and internationaland domestic long distance bus terminal. Local shared taxis or vans pass by nearby for Sosua and Cabarete every few minutes. The Hostess a mother of 3 teenage children is very helpful, informative and caring.
