"Sprechen sie deutsch?" This is realy a nice, german hostel. The beds are amazing and the lady who owns it is so happy. Friedrichshain is a bit fare from the central Berlin, but it's cheap and nice. Trine, from Denmark ~ 27th Sep 2009

If you just need a comfortable bed in a clean and quiet hostel, then this one is a good choice. And it is cheap! Our room also had a TV and a towel was included for each person. The hostel is located at the edge of the scenic quarter Prenzlauer Berg where you can find lots of bars and restaurants for low price. Dennis, from Germany ~ 24th Apr 2009

A really nice place to meet people, and to share the Berliner's way of life in one of the most welcoming part of Berlin. Marc, from France ~ 19th Feb 2009

The hostel was overall ok, but there were a couple of things that were not too good. First, you could hear everything from almost every room, the place is not sound isolated at all. You can talk through the walls without raising your voice. Perhaps not the best place for couples. Second, there is no reception, so there is no door bell to ring when you arrive. You have to call the phone number by the entrance. We had to wait for at least 20 minutes before we were let in. Not the best welcome. Ole Hallvard, from Norway ~ 23rd Feb 2009

a good place, but the heater did not work and it was freezing. A strange thing was, that the lady of the hostel was not there...and when we arrived she could not open the door, despite the fact that she had called my cellphone twice from a german phone on our way there, to ask us when we would be there...which was not only expensive for me, but also completely useless, as she did not even use the information to be ready to receive us, and we waited outside for almost half an our in minus ten deg Annbritt Betinna, from Denmark ~ 12th Jan 2009

sehr kleines Hostel, super Lage, nette Einrichtung. Könnte mir vorstellen, dass es zu Hauptreisezeiten etwas eng wird, da nur 2 Duschen zur Verfügung stehen. Bad hätte etwas sauberer sein können. Angela, Sofia, Stefanie, from Germany ~ 2nd Dec 2008
