Clipper was the cosiest hostel ever! Dogs were lovely and friendly, no need to be afraid. The staff were very accommodating, managed to book us an extra night which we needed; told a lot about Dutch culture and also trusted us, I guess, so it all comes to being friendly and flexible from both sides. We had hot water for shower! Excellent wireless Internet on board too! I was quite worried before arriving in Rotterdam because of the negative reviews here, but now I'd suggest Clipper to everyone!

It's very, very small! But, it's fine if you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your room. The husband is difficult to get along with at first, but it is possible to warm to him. If you accomplish that, then talking to the wife and husband can be quite pleasant. It was also very difficult for me to get used to the shower. It's not necessarily unsanitary, but it's old and rusty, so it 'appears' very dirty. Apparently, they are in the process of upgrading/updating their boat, so don't go in with high expectations.

A man intrude our room with key at midnight£¬said rudly to us£¬tidying up one bed or getting away in five minutes. We paid for the price of 2 twin bed rooms, but obtained three beds of dormitory and humiliation.it's really terrible experience.

Everything was as expected, except for the fact that we came by car and the parking there is very unsafe - a car parked next to ours was robbed on the night of our stay!

it is an experinence to say the least, there is no hot water and it is very musty. when i got to the boat the staff had left for a few hours forcing me to sit around for almost 3 hours to check in. one night here is good but no more then that

The information about the hostel is so poor that we even don't know the hostel is a real boat.

I was eating breakfast and there was a customer using the computer in the lobby area. When the owner saw him, he began screaming at him and swearing about using his personal computer, however, there was not any signs saying it was not allowed to use the computer! He kicked the kid out of the boat as well. I felt bad for him, and it created a really tense, awkward environment. I would not stay again, the rooms were very small and not the best location.

very cool experience being on a boat. Ramone is a cool dude...very nice and had a lot to share about the people and government of the netherlands/europe. It felt good being basically in someone's house. Good location, make sure you ring the doorbell or they won't know you are there.
