Beds were very loud. I didn't sleep much because I woke up whneever the person above me turned around.

I love this hostel! It's a very spacious, clean and nicely maintained building, in an excellent location very close to the White House and Mall, with a friendly staff, fun events and walking tours, and an excellent free breakfast served in their large dining room. Staff very helpful. A great way to meet a lot of different people. The elevator was down for repairs one day and that was a major problem for me.

Everything was just great, it´s one of the best hostels I´ve ever stayed at, the free activities are very good. My only complaint is the elevator, I hope the management will replace it, because can take up to 20 minutes to go to your room. But everything else is perfect, congratulations

It was a really great experience for me. I was impressed by how good things were. However I thought the areas outside of the rooms needed more attention. The carpets smelled and looked dirty.

I had a very good time in the HI in Washington DC, most of the issues are very good but I think that the staff have to get better about their treatment with the travelers.

Nelson: It's nice to read that "most" things are very good, but I am concerned about the guest service that you received. We seem to have fallen short of the mark on that topic, which is one of the most important factors in determining how your stay was.
