Nice location on the lake for runners/bikers/kayakers, though a hike to walk to 6th St or UT. Free, and delicious, bread is a big plus--but no alcohol, even beer, allowed. Rooms and bathrooms generally clean. Christopher, from USA ~ 2nd Sep 2009

We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel, apart from the walk back to the hostel at nighttime from the bus stop. The only negative was the showers, they were not private at all and reminded me of showers in prisons. Overall, it was good though. Katie, from England ~ 11th Jun 2009

Nice eight bed dormitory with air conditioning and lake breezes. Bunks need replacing. Mine was out of level higher near the wall.. not a good night's sleep for me. It was the first room on left, bed #6. They supplied sheets,pillows and blankets. Yes!! Festival Park sent low frequency sounds on weekends. Not a peaceful feeling :( If you're allergic to cats, it's not the place for you. It would have been more fun, if we could use their canoes or even swim in the lake.
