Great location, helpful staff, nice character, and reasonable. If youre ever in Bogota, definitely check it out.

there was a midnight curfew, if travelers were not in by 24:00 then the travelers would be locked out until 6:00. A curfew is radiculous and not right. plus the staff was never to be found. And there is no social scene, so it is very hard to meet people there. i just did not like this place. two other travelers and i left as soon as possible.

This hostel is a joke, it has a locked door policy at midnight and will not reopen till 7 in the morning. The building itself is a hostel owners dream.
The hostel is placed on a big colonial building and has a good location for knowing the center but the hostel doesnt worry to have a map to give you and they barely answer any question you ask, unfortunately Colombia and specially Bogota has no tourism culture, I got robbed at Cartagena

Location is good for the old town, however all the good restaurants and pubs area a 15 minute drive away in a cab, about 6 dollars each way. Is very secure... the owner is switched on to keeping the front door ALWAYS locked, and locks the secondary door locked at night, so is very secure. Clean showers, good beds.
Okay...good hostel but with a weird vibe. When I was there, there were a lot of kids, families. Young travellers, not so much. No internet, dark common room. Some of the staff is not very outgoing. About 2 minutes'walk from the main square though.

It was a good, quiet hostel, a bit out of the way. The staff did not speak English and we didn´t speak Spanish so it was a bit difficult to communicate. Would recommend it.
The staff were unhelpful, bordering on rude. There is no information about Bogota or Colombia. The worst thing about the hostel is that you can't get back in after 12pm at night, which is limiting. I would only suggest this hostel if you are travelling with others, and want somewhere cheap and central. The building is nice, the beds comfortable and the showers hot, but there is no atmosphere or real capacity to meet others.
