“ Free tour of the city and pub crawl / club night every day! They're is a "café" in the hostel, but I found it a bit expensive. The room was not so comfortable with the noise air-conditionning. Staff is very helpful ”

“ I really liked the atmosphere of the hostel, you get to met really nice people form all around the world. I really like the activities and groups they form in the lobby. I would definitely come back!, the bathrooms are really clean, the beds, the rooms, everything its really good if you are traveling by yourself or with someone, it doesn't matter, because they make you feel really comfortable, and the Staff It's really nice! ”

“ I loved it here, a bit of a trek (or cab ride) from Midtown but it was a nice place to come back to at the end of a long day, roommates were quiet and everyone kept to themselves. Clean beds and bathroom facilities, hot showers, really that's all I ask for when traveling. Will definitely stay again! ”

“ The location and affordable prices were my top priority whilst visiting New York and Hostelling International was the best choice. It is a block away from the subway station which was super convenient. We used to come back at 2 in the morning and the area was safe. The rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms, just be sure to pack a pair of flip flops ;) The lockers in the rooms allowed me to be comfortable with leaving my things in the room Overall, I'm satisfied with the service. ”

“ The hostel was good. I mean for $50 bucks your not going to get a five star hotel. It was decent. But I must warn you there are mice and they reuse the fleece blankets by neatly folding them after the guests leaves instead of washing them and if the sheets look clean then they wont bother changing it. ”

“ Good hostel. The atmosphere is enjoyable and the tours/pubcrawls are appreciated. For this rate we would have enjoyed breaksfast or at least free coffee in the morning. The staff is fine, helpfull, but more smiling and kindness need to be done. Definately a good place to stay :) ”

“ Michelle and Alicia were both very helpful. Great place. First time at any hostel and I'd for sure stay again. Alicia worked the front desk and made getting situated very easy. There was another guy who walked us outside to point out the subway stops and general direction to central park. Michelle told us about all the great bars and places to eat in the area. Awesome job. ”

“ Very good hostel. Liked the staff and the facilities. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hostel, which was great. The only real drawback is that this hostel is a little more north than I'm used to staying, but that's not a big problem. It's very close to the 103rd street subway. ”
